Farewell Autodesk

As we come to the end of our time working out of Autodesk’s space, we want to take a moment to say thank you. That time gave us room not just to build, but to grow the work itself. What began as small mockups and early test pieces developed into our HUD showcase prototype and ultimately our first full-scale installation. The ability to iterate at full scale, refine details in real time, and pressure-test ideas in a true production environment helped bridge the gap between concept and reality in a meaningful way.

Access to Autodesk’s machines, tools, and facilities played a critical role in that process. From CNC equipment to shop resources, the trust placed in HPT gave our team the freedom to move quickly, experiment openly, and build with confidence during a pivotal phase of our work.

Just as important were the intangibles that came along with sharing a space with such a talented group of people. The hands-on guidance, conversations around jig and fixture design, workflow optimization, and machine best practices all had a lasting impact on how we think about fabrication and problem-solving. That knowledge carries forward well beyond any single project or machine. We’re incredibly grateful for the generosity, mentorship, and collaborative spirit Autodesk brought to the table, and we’ll take those lessons with us as we move into the next chapter.

To everyone at Autodesk who opened their doors, shared their expertise, and supported our work along the way — thank you. This experience has left a lasting mark on HPT, and we’re sincerely appreciative of the opportunity you gave us to build, learn, and grow.
